Q: What should I bring to my recording session?

A: Bring copies of the scores for the music you are playing, so that the producer can mark them and make notes throughout the session. And, if you don’t mind using one, bring a folding music stand. In some situations, there can be sonic benefits to using a folding stand instead of a regular heavy stand.
